I was 2 days journey away from home when my dad passed away. To my surprise He had chosen to be cremated. At dad's memorial service, I remember going to the graveside service. I walked in under the green canopy and was standing in the 2nd row. As I looked over the shoulder of the person in front of me, I saw what appeared to be a fancy coffee can. In my mind, I said, "what's tha..", suddenly realizing, that was my dad! I thought, "where is my dad now". And immediatley began to wonder where I would be after I pass on.

Not too long after that, I received eternal life and what a change that made in my perspective of life today and death... whenever.

A few years back, my grandmother died. It was not nearly as sad or "unresolved" an experience as when I attended my dad's funeral. Before I received eternal life, I wondered why she was different; why she was so pleasantly "speciial". She lived a happy and fulfilling life and... she knew she was going to heaven. This time the experience was different. Although I missed her not being here to enjoy her company, I knew I would someday join her in heaven too!

...have you come to the place in your life where you know for certain that you have eternal life and would go to heaven?
