It makes a hugh difference in my life not wanting to do the things I used to do.
I was a drug addict for 25 years. I was sick and tired of my life.I had burned all my bridges with nowhere to go, no money to survive. I was 38 years old when God led me to a homeless shelter for a meal and some rest. God had that rest that he promises in Matthew 11:28 - "come to me who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest." That rest!!! I want to do the right thing today, I want to please God everyday.
Immediately after I gave my life to Christ that day at the mission I was convicted of the sin in my life. I was not a good person.
By asking God to come into my life and change me I have never looked back. "God restored the years the locust had eaten" (Joel 2:25).
