Just another weekend or so I thought. It began on Friday afternoon after getting off work all I could think about was getting high. The weekend was going about like usual until Sunday morning. My wife was terribly upset at me, so I decided I would go to church with her. That's where it all would change.
There God spoke to my heart and changed me forever. Although it took some time for it all to become clear.
The next day at work, I got in a truck and turned the radio on. The song that happened to be playing has a line in it that says "Deny your maker" at that moment I knew things would never be the same.
I will not say that it has been easy but now that I have Christ in my life I have found victory over those addictions.
I know that I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. And at the moment of my death I will be with Him.
