I was raised in a Catholic family that mostly attended church on Christmas, Easter, weddings and funerals. For as long as I can remember, I believed that God existed. I actually owned a bible as a young man, but it served only as a decoration on my dresser. My younger days were pretty much filled with trying to live a good life as I pursued money and things. It wasn't until my children were nearing school age that it became important enough for me to find the truth about spiritual matters that I could pass on to my kids. I found that truth through listening to Christian radio programs.
I can tell you that my faith has completely changed my life. It has given me a new better perspective about everything. God, other people, life in general, circumstances that we all go through, good and bad.
God has filled a void in my life that I was never able to satisfy on my own.
I recognize how blessed I am and that gives me a desire to share what I've found with other people.
