I recall not being able to go to the university I wanted and I felt devastated because of that. I became sad and I lost self-esteem that I became pessimistic and I settled for my second choice. For a year, that I have gone to that school, I have realized that I have been closer to God than I ever imagined.
Through situations like those, I have realized that God closes doors to open new ones and I have understood why He allowed me to go to that university. It has helped my family more financially, and I have also understood more about my faith and what it entails.
