What is our purpose?

At one time or another in our life we ask, "Why am I here?" or "What is the meaning of life?" or something similar. We as a people need to understand our purpose; that our existence was not a result of n number of variables that aligned to create the heavens and the earth in such a balance to sustain us. More accurately, we should try to understand who we are attempting to find. God.

I am glad I am a Christian because my faith alone in Jesus gives me salvation and the assurance of knowing that I will spend eternity with the living God.


This makes a difference because I understand my purpose in this life. My purpose is to serve God and to deliver the lord's message of salvation to all who will listen.

When I came to know Jesus, I no longer feared the unknown in any area of my life. The lord knows my needs and I do not measure my happiness by the collection of material things.

The Lord gave us his word in the bible and Hebrews 13:5 says 'Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.' It is for this word of knowledge (and others like it) that I know as bad as some things get, the lord will bring me through my trials.

Each time, the Lord brought me through them.
