I am glad to be a Christian because it gives me solid foundation to the core building blocks of life, defining Truth, what's Right and what's Wrong.
It gives clarity on why life is the way it is and how it could be if I made different choices, both good and bad.
My value system changed (and continues to) from materialism to relationships, from myself to others.
Early in my career I was obsessed with an ever increasing income. With God's help I chose to replaced that selfish and stress filled ambition with the one of helping others understand how much God loves them. My new life obsession comes with far more adventure and much more peace regardless of the circumstances.
This happened to me when I was 31 years old, married with two children.
Sue (my wife) and I decided our children needed to grow up in church, although Sue and I had not. What we found after walking into a church down the street from our house was truth, love and a personal relationship with God and His people.
