Before my relationship with Christ I was FAKE with everyone I knew.
I walked a beautiful life and constantly was being praised by others, however the motives of my heart were selfish and driven by sin and sin alone.
I was at a friends day at church and i asked if I could run the sound for the traveling Southern gospel group that was coming to our church because i could play paper football in the soundbooth and not really pay attention but the lead singer of the group had these huge braces and i just couldn't stop looking at her. What started out with a buddy and me making fun of her braces turned into not being able to take my eyes off of her because as the service kept going i became jealous because the lady with braces was full of joy and I was miserable. I realized that only through a relationship with Christ could I have that Joy!
From then on I could truly serve people and be secure in who i was because I found my significance in Christ not in self exaltation. (Which lets just be honest there wasn't much to exalt)
Since then I have seen God move and work in my life. I am serving currently as a student pastor at a church in Arkansas and I have fallen in love with God's word and sharing his characteristics with the world. I have found the meaning of life "To God be the Glory great things he has done"
I relaize now that i have this life fully and eternally!
