Victory in Jesus

I don't have to worry about the future, to the point of a heart attack or something similar, because God will take care of his children. He tells us in his word that all things work together for good for his children. We may have some days that we get great news and days we get bad news, but my hope is in Jesus Christ! He rules it all, owns it all, and made it all!
When I became a Christian most people would not have seen a big change in me. I grew up in church and had a head knowledge of Jesus Christ, and even played the part of a Christian. When I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior, I looked at life in a different way. I started reading my Bible more, praying more, and thinking how things that I did impacted other people. The most amazing thing about how my life changed is that even after 15 years, he is still changing me. He sees things in me that are wrong and points them out to me. He wants them changed, to bring Glory and Honor to his name. Without Christ, there is no telling where I would be today.
God took away my desire to use tobacco. I had this habit for nearly 20 years. I am not saying that it is a terrible thing to do, but it was something that I could not do on my own.
I asked the Lord to give me the victory over it, and he did. It was not an easy road, and I have been told that nicotine is more addictive than cocaine. I had tried several times to quit and was never able to. Something always pushed me back to it, but with Christ standing beside me, I was able to lay it down this time.
