Coming back to Jesus

Before I started going to church again I was caught up in drugs and alcohol.
I was caught up in just living for myself and doing only the things that made me happy.
Then one day at work I over heard a conversation. One statement stop me in my tracks. They were talking about Revelations and end time prophecy.In Israel a red calf had been born.The one man said when they rebuild the new temple they need a red calf to sacrifice.After hearing this something inside of me was awakened. I started reading the bible again and listening to christian radio.
It seemed I could not learn enough and the scriptures were coming alive to me. I had a friend at work who was a good Christian man and another who was a preacher also. Together they answered any questions I had.
Finally the day happened I went back to church for the first time in years. I sat down with my family and the Holy Spirit did the rest. i rededicated my life to Christ and later had my friend at work who was a preacher baptize me in the Pidgeon River beside his church.
I wish I could say it was easy from that point but it was not. The trials I have went through were very hard but Jesus was their every time. Looking back at where I was and seeing myself now really is an incredible journey. Jesus is the most important thing in my life now. I fear nothing nor worry about things because I know my Saviour is there and He loves me. One day I will see Him face to face and if I can speak I will say Thank You for never giving up on me.
