Peace In the Midst of Life's

I am glad I have eternal life because it encourages me that no matter what happens in this world it is only temporary because ultimately I will be with God in heaven. Knowing I have eternal life enables me to have joy in the midsts of the ups and downs that life brings it gives me a hope for each new day.



My husband is retired from the military and during his career, he served two tours of duty in Afghanistan and one in Iraq. He was away for over a year for each of these military tours and while he was away, I had to raise my daughter and keep the home going while still working my full time job as a scientist. God always gave me a peace and all the support from my family and friends. During this time people would ask how could I stay so calm and I would point to my faith and know that God would take care of my husband and he certainly was taking care of me and my daughter while my husband was away.



The same peace that God gave me during my husbands tours of duty is the same peace that I have everyday because I know for sure that I will be in heaven when this earthly life is over.
