I made a decision to accept Jesus Christ as my personal Savior when I was 9 years old, after hearing several sermons about where would I spend eternity, heaven or hell. I was in church my whole life and I came to realize that I needed Jesus Christ. My parents answered some questions that I had and prayed with me the sinners prayer. My life has not been perfect, but having a relationship with Jesus Christ has fulfilled my life.
By having a relationship with Jesus I have found that whatever I may go through, He is always with me, to comfort me and to guide me.
When I was in college, some of students and friends invited me to a study at one student's apartment. When I arrived, I found that some of them had drugs and some drank alcohol. By peer pressure, I stayed for some while, but the Holy Spirit was convicting me by staying there. I left letting them know that their behavior was inappropriate and the next day I found out there had been some consequences of their actions and partying.
There is a peace that Jesus Christ gives even when things are tough and sometimes seem unbearable. Knowing that I will be in heaven with Him when I die, gives me joy unspeakable. Life here on earth is rewarding and full, serving Him.
