I knew nothing about God or eternal life until my mother started taking me to the local Sunday School when I was 5. There were a lot of other children in this Sunday School and I had a good time there. Gradually I learnt more and more of the stories of the Bible. I suppose I thought I was a Christian, but one day, while I was still in primary school, one the the Sunday School teachers challenged me in terms of my own relationship with God. For the nest few years I was not sure whether I had eternal life or not. I learnt more and more about Jesus. A couple of camps run by the Presbyterian Church helped me to see things more clearly, but I still had no certainty.

Then, in the first year of high school, I received eternal life.

From that time on, I was filled with a joy and a peace I had not had before. My relationship with God became very real, and the Bible really began to make sense.

Since I received eternal life, I have never had any doubts that I have eternal life.

It has been many years since I received eternal life. My life had had many ups and downs. I have made many mistakes, and have learnt much through my various experiences. God has been with me throughout this time, giving direction to my life. The greatest thing has been knowing that God has accepted me in Jesus, and that no matter what happens, I will always be able to live in a wonderful relationship with him.
